I am delighted to welcome you to the launch of the new Croom Parish Website. As you know all movement is severely restricted during the Covid-19 pandemic. There is a greater use of all forms of social media and online communication. Parishes and Churches are adapting to this new found situation and using all possible means to keep in touch with their parishioners. In this regard I trust that this website will be of assistance to the people of Croom and Banogue.

Croom and Banogue were one parish up until 1861 when Banogue became a seperate Parish. This continued up until 2003 when the Parish was served by two priests from Croom but it still maintains its own entity and independence.

My thanks to Tiernan O’Rourke of Croom, who has set up this website. I am sure that the website will be of great support and assistance for parishioners of Croom and Banogue both at home and abroad
